The Wind Seeker is docked within 300 feet of the Friday Harbor ferry dock thus making it very convenient to walk off the ferry to the boat. The Wind Seeker was built in 1995, is 41'-10" long with a beam of 13'-10" and a depth of 6 1/2 ft. The jib is a 140 Genoa with Schaeffer 3000 Roller Furling. The boat is also equipped with a Cruising Spindrifter which is usually not on board. An inflatable dingy with outboard motor is provided as standard equipment. Crew on Windseeker Sailboat Photo

The Wind Seeker has three staterooms. The captain’s stateroom is forward of the mast bulkhead and is complete with an adjacent head and shower. The two other staterooms are in the stern and have their own head and shower.

The heads are equipped with electric maserators thus eliminating hand pumping. The main cabin interior is heated with an electric heater when on shore power.

It is also equipped with a Webasto hot water cabin heater that blows hot air through five outlets distributed throughout the entire interior to make those chilly days and evenings warm and toasty cabin adventures.

The galley is fully equipped with a three burner propane range and oven. The Adler-Barbour refrigerator is large and we have been able to stock it with a weeks supply of food. The Wind Seeker carries three fresh water tanks with a 110 gallon capacity. The electrical system has an inverter/ Battery Charger which converts the 12 Volt DC system to AC current.

At Buchart Gardens Cove the boat proved to be a joy to spend an evening on with all the comforts of home. We tied up to a buoy and took the dingy to the dock for an evening tour of the gardens
